Meet the Team

The core of Daly & Shaw Builders consists of a team of dedicated individuals with the expertise, qualifications and experience to see the most demanding project through to completion.  The company has excellent long-term relationships with many loyal and trusted sub-contractors, trades and suppliers.  The Directors are actively involved in the business, providing management with ongoing direction and support.

Mick Daly



Mick is a founding Director of Daly & Shaw Building Pty Ltd along with Robert Shaw. He has worked in the West Australian Building and Construction Industry for over 40 years.

Those who know Mick well will not be surprised that he gets the most satisfaction out of building, trouble shooting and helping people see their investment project or dream home come to fruition.  He is a strong advocate of supporting local businesses and the community.


Robert Shaw 


  Robert Shaw is a founding Director of Daly & Shaw Building Pty Ltd along with Mick Daly. Robert has over 35 years experience in the Building and Construction Industry.
Robert's primary focus is on property development opportunities and alliance partnerships.  His recent four year tenure as President of the Master Builders Association of WA and Netball WA, demonstrates his commitment to the continuing development of the building industry as well as Western Australian sport.

David Casotti

Building / Operations Manger               

David holds a Diploma in Building & Construction and has been with the business for over 7 years. He is responsible for overseeing all the projects and works closley with the Directors on a number of fundamental initiatives to support  the integrity of the business. 

Mimma Tassone

Sales & Client Liaison

Mimma has excellent knowlegde of the procedures required to consistantley deliver a stress-free journey with Daly & Shaw Builders. Laising directly with clients from the initial concepts through to completion ensuring all your queries are addressed promptly. 

Joanne Butler

Sales & Design Consultant

Joanne has a an extensive background in building design with over 25 years in the industry. Joanne is the  first point of contact for discussing the development potential and design options of a site. With excellent understanding of the current planning and building codes, Joanne prepares design proposals to maximize the potential of a site. She also oversees the various consultants engaged to assist with design, engineering and certification in both the preparation and progress of all required approvals.

Tyson Wake


Tyson has many years experience consistently working as a Building Estimator. He prepares quotations, bills of quantities, and liaises directly with our long standing and trusted Suppliers and Trades. Tyson manages our project budgets, scheduling, resource allocation and also holds the responsibility as the registered Safety Officer for Daly & Shaw Builders. 

Bruce Dykstra

Junior Estimator/Scheduler 



Bruce assists with estimating, preparation of bills of quantities and resource allocation for all projects. Bruce also holds a Bachelor of Architectural Science and is currently working towards completing his in Degree in Architecture.


Scott Fagan

Senior Construction Supervisor

Scott is a registered Builder and directly oversees the supervision of all projects and co-ordinates on-site activities to ensure that construction is carried out to schedule and to the highest of standards. Awarded the MBA Building Industry Ric New Medal (2013) for his outstanding work ethic and supervision excellence.

George Oselton

Site Supervisor

With over 20 years as a team member of Daly & Shaw, George is dedicated to his role  and his meticulous attention to detail consistantly delivers a quality project outcome.    

Laurence Walsh

Site Supervisor

A registered Builder in his own right, Laurence's supervision expertise encompasses individually designed homes to multi-level Class 2 projects.  His excellent organisional skills and attention to detail ensures all projects are completed to the highest quality on schedule and on budget. 

Amanda Morgan

Finance Co-ordinator & PA to the Directors

With a broad spectrum of abilities, Amanda oversees the finance and accounting function within the Daly & Shaw Group. She also undertakes the role of personal assistant to the Directors. 

Tara Coyne

Office Administraion / Accounts Payable & Receivable

Tara manages all areas of administration, including reception, accounts payable and receivable.  Her professionalism and efficiency within her role maintains an excellent relationship with our Clients, Suppliers and Trades.
